Reading Notes, Mahabarata: C

Riddles at the Lake
I cant believe the brothers survived this long, and now they are all falling dead to the pond. What message is this story trying to convey, I am thinking about patience, but that only seems viable for the first brother. At the end, Yudhishthira requests that his brothers be brought back to life after he solves the riddles given to him with patience and knowledge. What makes him different from the rest of the Pandevas?

Krishna and Karna

This story was extremely hard for me to understand. They reinforced Karna's abandondment, and he asked Kunti why she let him go all those years ago. She responded by saying he pledged his life for his brothers.  I dont know, his situation seems kind of sad.
